This sweet snack pairs fabulously with the sangria featured in yesterday’s post. They’re both perfect for a girls night out on the deck. The decadent taste of the apple crostini will have your friends praising your skills in the kitchen. But they take very little time to make and even fewer ingredients. You’ll need: One french baguette, goat cheese ball, pomegranate or pomegranate seeds, honey, Gala or Fuji apple
Step one: Cut your baguette horizontally into thin slices. Do not use ends. I only used half a baguette. But have used a full one in the past
Step two: Cut apple using apple slice and then cut each slice into thinner slices to be placed on top baguette pieces.
Step three: Place baguette pieces on baking sheet and lightly drizzle with olive oil
Step four: Put baguette slices in the broiler on low for a few minutes. You just want to toast them a little bit. Be careful because they burn quickly, you want to make them slightly golden. *Option- when baguette pieces are done in the oven you can rub them with a garlic clove for added flavor
Step five: Spoon out goat cheese and spread evenly on top of baguette pieces and top with an apple slice
Step six: Place your goat cheese and apple crostini together on a plate sprinkle pomegranate seeds on top and drizzle with honey *I heat my honey up for a few seconds to make it less thick Serve with white wine and enjoy!
Thanks for reading!
