These mini apple pies are the perfect fall treat. They’re so easy to make with just a few ingredients. Now, you may be surprised by the ingredient, Mountain Dew. Don’t be afraid this is the magic behind this dish!
Here’s what you’ll need to make these melt in your mouth delicious apple pies:
1 Granny smith apple
1 can of crescent roll dough
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 can of crescent roll dough
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 stick of butter
Half can of mountain dew or 7UP
Using an apple slicer cut your apple in 8 equal slices.
Place one slice on your crescent dough, the wider side and roll the slice into your crescent.

In a bowl, melt your butter and add in your brown sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon.
In a 13 x 9 baking dish place your crescent rolls and drizzle them with melted mix you created.

Pour your mountain dew or 7 UP in between your crescent rolls, not over top of them like you did with your mixture.

Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 35-45
Enjoy by themselves or with a nice big scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Omg I had no idea that they didn’t have them in the UK. Crescent rolls are like a flaky delicious bread! But I think any type of pastry dough would work!

I’d have to ditch the cinnamon because I have an intense dislike for it but they sound amazing. Especially warm with vanilla ice cream. Has me drooling already.
