I have to thank my girl, Whitney Simmons for this next recipe. She knows the struggle of battling your sweet tooth while trying to stay fit. If you haven’t watched Whitney’s fitness videos on YouTube you are missing out! She is hilarious and her workouts really make you feel the burn. She also has videos on tips for healthier living, which is how I discovered this next recipe.
To make these healthy Reese Cups you will need the following.
1 cup of PB Powder
1/2 cup of water
3/4 cup of dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup of almond milk (room temperature)
Mini cupcake holders
This will make 22 servings at 63 calories per serving.
Start by melting chocolate chips in 15-second intervals in the microwave. Stirring in between.
Once the chocolate is completely melted and smooth slowly stir in almond milk. This will make your mixture a little bit thicker.
Spoon chocolate mixture into the bottom of the cupcake liners.
Pop them into the freezer for a few minutes while you make the peanut butter mixture.
Mix 1 cup of PB powder and half cup of water together. Your consistency should be slightly runny.
Spoon that layer on top of the chocolate and put back in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Add the final layer of chocolate and freeze for another 30 minutes.
Store cups and eat when you need to satisfy your sweet tooth 🙂
What are your favorite healthified treats?
Thanks for reading!
