Christmas time is my favorite time of year. Whether it’s watching movies on the couch, baking cookies or going to holiday events, I will be spreading the spirit of the season around.
Here are some of my favorite local holiday events:
The Comcast Holiday Spectacular: An excellent stop on a Philadelphia Christmas tour. This free 15-minute video screening is great for families. The visuals are truly spectacular and the holiday music is even better.
Franklin Square Holiday Festival & Electrical Spectacle Holiday Light Show: This little park is right near the Ben Franklin Bridge. Every year the park gets lit up with thousands of lights while festive music plays. You can grab a drink and sit by the fire at the winter beer garden. You can also enjoy a little snack. I typically stop here or walk through here on my way to other favorite holiday events.
The Made In Philadelphia Holiday Market at Dilworth Park: My ultimate favorite! You can find so many unique gifts from local vendors. There’s also great food and drinks that you can enjoy while walking around. The market is super cute with all the different vendors in little cabin-styled booths.
What are some of your favorite holiday events in your area?

Ooh those definitely sound like fun events! There may be events near us in December, but we don’t have any we specifically go to, lol. My family and I prefer to enjoy holiday shopping and admire all the beautiful ways people decorate their homes for Christmas!

Yes! A good drive around the neighborhood to look at lights is an event itself!
