Hello loves! In honor of National Lipstick Day, I am going to be sharing my favorite lipsticks! To me, lipstick is more than just a piece of makeup; it’s confidence in a tube. Want to look more put together? Put on lipstick. Want to feel happier on a gloomy day? Put on some lipstick.

Here’s a list of my go-to’s:

Favorite Red Lipstick
Red lipstick is the ultimate confidence booster. When you wear this shade you have to own it! My favorite is the Urban Decay Matte Revolution in Bad Blood. I love the name, makes me think of Taylor Swift’s song. Turn that song up with your red lip and no one will be able to stop you! But seriously, this lipstick is amazing. It gives a matte finish without that dry feeling. Plus it’s a cool tone, which makes your teeth look whiter. Sadly, I think Urban Decay is discontinuing this lipstick line.

Favorite Drugstore Lipstick 
I am going to take the easy way out here because I can’t pick just one shade. Instead, I am going to share my favorite drugstore lipstick brand, Milani. First, the sleek, gold packaging is gorgeous. The collection has shades ranging from light nudes to deep and bolder colors. The price is also great and a lot of drugstores will do sales so you can get a nice bargain with this brand.

Favorite Nude Lipstick
Ok, so, I guess I do have a favorite drugstore lipstick, but it’s also my favorite nude lipstick so I am putting it in this category. The brand is, you guessed it, Milani. The shade is Teddy Bare. I’m not sure if they still make this shade but it’s a gorgeous browny-pink. I didn’t mention this above, but Milani lipsticks smell amazing!

Favorite High-End Lipstick 
Sticking with nudes, my favorite high-end lipstick is the Tarte Rainforest of The Sea™ Color Splash Lipstick. I recently got a sample and had to purchase the full size. This lipstick feels light and moisturizing on the lips. Plus, Tarte’s packaging is always gorgeous.

Favorite Everyday Lipstick
MAC Syrup I love this lipstick so much. Of course, everyone knows MAC has great packaging and great formulas. This one, in particular, is sheerer in coverage but gives a nice glaze to the lips. It’s one of their Lustres. I love how moisturizing it is.

Favorite Liquid Lipstick
I wish so badly, that I had one for this category because the liquid lip has been so popular over the last few years. Unfortunately, I have very dry lips and liquid lipsticks sink into my lines and look terrible! If anyone has recommendations leave a comment below!
