As I’ve stated in a previous blog, my skin gets really dry in the winter. Luckily, I recently discovered a few products that work well together and keep my skin hydrated and smooth.
Here are the products in my winter skincare routine:
Neutrogena Naturals Facewash
I love this face wash because it’s not too harsh on the skin. It foams up and gently washes away dirt and makeup.
Simple Micellar Water
I typically only use this on heavy makeup days to make sure I get rid of any extra makeup.
Pixi Glo Tonic
I got this product in a sample a little while ago and have been repurchasing ever since. I love that it clears out my pores and brightens my skin, which can look a little dull in the winter months.
Mario Badescu Rose Water
I spray this on my face immediately after the glo tonic to get some of the aloe into my pores. My thought behind this is to lock in some moisture. I don’t have any science behind this but my skin feels so much smoother when I consistently follow these two steps. Plus, I am obsessed with rose scents.
Vitamin E Oil
I read somewhere that vitamin E helps with dark spots. I had two really bad breakouts that I was convinced scared. I started using this oil to treat them and I think they look better. Now I use it places that I feel extra dry and in places that I think are starting to show fine lines (Hashtag over 25 problems haha) like my smile lines, forehead, and neck.
Elf Eye Cream
I place this under my eye and in the outer corners to try and prevent fine lines.
Nip and Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix Plumping Serum
I discovered this next product while reading another blogger’s post. She mentioned that it was really great for dry skin and fine lines. I was immediately on the hunt for this product. It’s lightweight and absorbs into the skin so fast. I love that it’s not greasy. It has a great plumping effect as well.
What are some products in your current skincare routine?
Thanks for reading!

Our skin in the winter really does get the worse of it. My problem is my lips the cold seems to dry and make them crack so every night before bed I take a few minutes to fully moisturise them for the next day. Some of these products I have noted down that I’d like to try. Thank you for sharing

I use the Simple micellar water regularly, it’s the only one I could find that was cruelty free too so it made it an easy job of choosing it hehe. x
