Sweet and Sassy Chicken Drumsticks

These chicken drumsticks are just like me, sweet and sassy. They’re so easy to make, all you need is a few ingredients and a Crock-Pot. I made them last Sunday for the football game and they were a perfect addition to the game day spread. I highly recommend them for the football season.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 cup of soy sauce
1 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of honey
1 tbs of crushed red pepper
1 tbs of garlic powder
1 tbs of parsley
Sprinkle of sesame seeds
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pack of chicken drumsticks

First season your chicken drumsticks with your garlic powder, salt, pepper and parsley. DSC06440
In a large bowl mix the first four ingredients together.
With your Crock-Pot on high, place down a few of your chicken drumsticks and pour the sauce over them. DSC06441
Layer the next batch of chicken drumsticks and repeat pouring the sauce over.

Cover with crockpot lid and cook on high for 3- 4 hours.
**Tip use a turkey baster to keep chicken on top moist with sauce.
Remove drumsticks from Crock-Pot, place them on a baking dish with a little bit of the sauce and broil on high for 5 minutes. DSC06457
Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce. I prefer a nice blue cheese or ranch. Don’t forget to cheer on your favorite team while you eat! DSC06464

These sound and look so good! Would it be possible for you to convert from cups to grams? It sounds stupid but it is so difficult to find a reliable conversion between cups and grams!

Those drumsticks look delicious. Might steal this for the weekend when my friends pop over – already pinned it on my Pinterest also 🙂
